Passenger Car Summer Premium Touring Tyres Tyre Review Highlights
Been using these tires since new on Toyota RAV 4 hybrid 2WD, still plenty of tread left, approx. 4-5 mm after 3.5 years of normal use. No major noise increase or uneven wear. Can’t really fault them.

— rated 100%
while driving a Suzuki vitara s 1,4 boosterjet for 30000 miles
if you want a silent cabin vitara go and buy this tyre its the only one . only downside is too expensive.

I recently replaced my Continental PremiumContact 7 tyres with a set of Pirelli Cinturato C3s.

After several hundred miles of mixed driving, including wet conditions, I have been pleasantly surprised by the overall performance. Grip levels are good in both dry and wet weather, steering response is predictable, and the tyres feel stable and confidence-inspiring. Compared with the PremiumContact 7, I would say the C3 is slightly quieter and more refined on motorway journeys, which has been a welcome improvement.

Unfortunately, my experience has been let down by the manufacturing finish and quality control. Two tyres from the set (DOT 2502) were finished to a very high standard, while the other two (DOT 2503) showed noticeably rough sidewall and shoulder finishing, visible splice marks and uneven trimming. The difference was obvious even though all four tyres were the same model and made in Italy.

The tyres themselves appear to perform well, and I have not experienced any safety or handling issues. However, for a premium-priced tyre from a premium brand, the inconsistency in finish quality is disappointing and below what I would expect from Pirelli.

Overall:
Performance: 8.5/10
Comfort & Noise: 9/10
Quality Control & Finish: 4/10

A very capable tyre on the road, but let down by surprisingly poor manufacturing consistency.

These are not quite tyres! My winter tyres (Goodyear Ultragrip 3) are quieter than those, my previous summer tyres (Kleber Dynaxer HP4) are quieter than those. The only reason I choose to buy these Michelins, was because I was looking for quite tyre, but they are not, average at best, so I am very disappointed in them.

i have replaced bridgestone ep150 and conti ts870 (both in original size - 185/55r16 for suzuki swift 2024 1.2 hybrid ) with sn110s. Size of falkens is 175/65r15. Road noise is terrible with bridgestone, a tad better with conti but still very apparent (turkish rough asphalt, japanese b class hb car and winter tyres or eco summer bridgestones are not good matches). There is almost no road noise now. Funny thing is that sn110 looks like thin bike tyre with higher side walls compared to original ones but i feel almost no difference in handling. I think that there is a slight trade-off for comfort, which is consumption. I was expecting a little decrease in my mpg but since it is same.. Well i can tolarate against loud trips. So far so good, i hope level of quiteness goes on like this as long as possible.

I installed these on my 2023 Genesis GV70 to replace Michelin Primacy Tour A/S tires and went with slightly wider tires which look way better. The common criticisms of these tires are poor winter grip and less road feel. But that's what I'm looking for! I want soft, quiet, comfortable tires that I swap out for the winter anyway. I want comfort over anything else and these tires are delivering so far. Cracks and irregularities in the road are almost not noticeable with these tires. They also seem a bit quieter. Hitting tar lines are not really softer/quieter though - maybe even a wee bit harder. With the wider tires, they fit my 8.5" wide custom wheels far better and protect the wheels much better as well. Very satisfied so far.

I’ve had powergy 205 60 16 tires on my Peugeot 308sw diesel for 6 months/10000 km now… Just did the first rotation. In the past, I’ve always used Michelin Primacy 4 tires {3 sets/160k km). In comparison to the Primacy tires, I find the Powergy tires to be noticeably quieter and less skitterish on rough pavement. Otherwise, handling and comfort seem comparable. Wear after 10k km is around 0.9-1mm. So. I expect to get close 50k km on these tires … same as the Primacy. We live close to the ocean where it is warmer and snow does not accumulate. So, I run summer tires 12 months out of the year with no problem thus far.

I always buy my tires at Costco, and these tires were 60% of the Michelin cost installed. I am retired and generally drive at a leisurely pace in the 40-100 kph range (maybe 10-15% over the posted speed limits) coasting into stops and accelerating gradually.

Replaced on my VW ID.3 Pro (204HP) the factory Continental EcoContact 6 (215/55 R18 95T), which were honestly disappointing and danger to drive due to way to soft sides. Quite strange they weren’t XL, considering how heavy this EV is...
This is why I switched to Michelin Primacy 5 Energy 99V XL with rim protection – and the difference is huge.
Grip and stability improved a lot. The car now feels extremely confident, almost like a sporty setup (even though these aren’t Pilot Sports). Cornering is perfect. I also can comfortably carry 20 km/h more through bends and the tyres just hold.
Comfort is very good, and they stay quiet on the highway. I would explain that in EVs, most of the noise comes from airflow and wind anyway, then tyres – so expectations need to be adjusted a bit. For anyone new to EV driving, it feels like a mix of:
a car (because of the tyres),
a plane (wind noise outside cabin),
a train (smooth, heavy, linear acceleration).

Also worth mentioning: they look really good. Clear “Michelin” branding, and the little Michelin Man with a raised hand almost feels like he’s greeting you every time you walk up to the car – small detail, but it genuinely improves my mood :)

Overall: big upgrade over OEM tyres – excellent handling, stability, and still great comfort.

I haven’t experienced any loss of comfort after switching from Michelin CrossClimate tires. These tires perform better than the Michelins on dry roads. I just bought them recently, though. I’ll update my opinion after driving on wet roads and rough surfaces.

Horrendous wet handling and braking, but OK economy, noise, dry braking and handling.

Updating on previous reviews - these tyres suit the Seat Arona quite well with predictable handling wet and dry, even when pushed hard cornering in the wet.
Tyre pressure is a slight mystery so I experimented and also searched online for recommendations running at around 40 psi they still grip well in the wet.
I would probably try something else next time as others are getting slightly better reviews - maybe Pirelli C3, Falken ZIEX ZE 320, these seem to be my top 2 I would consider.
Car came with Good year efficient Grip 2 and these were Ok but the Bridgestone was superior in almost all ways

Very good grip across the various road conditions we get in UK recently. Not intrusive as very low noise levels in the cabin and a consistent ride comfort over the speed range. These provided me with a premium tyre at great value and I’d definitely recommend and use them again.
