235/55 R20 Tyres

TLDR: Awesome value, on par with any All-season SUV Touring tire from "major" brands.

Got a set of four fitted for $630USD, anything comparable from Kumho, Hankook, Pirelli, Michelin, Dunlop, etc. was around or over $1000. Replaced the factory Bridgestone H/L33A at 72.500KM before the winter starts, we don't get snow but quite a lot of rain in central Chile. I was very surprised to see they were actually made in Korea, many tires from big brands sold around here come from Brazil, Thailand or even China.

I heavily disagree with the site saying this is a Summer UHP, even on the Nexen website they are labeled "Luxury Comfort SUV" and they are M+S rated. If that's not a Premium Touring All Season I don't know what else it could be. Compared to the factory tires they are an upgrade in pretty much any measurable way. I find them to be very quiet, with a comfortable and composed ride. Not too soft, so it's not bouncy, and not too hard so bumps on the road don't feel harsh at all. Grip is very confidence inspiring, and they behave great on the wet at highway speeds. We'll have to see how they wear, but I will give Nexen the benefit of the doubt, they offer very comprehensive tread wear warranties on other markets, also they are not directional, so tire rotations should be easy and help a lot with wear. At their price, they are unbeatable value IMO.

We put these tires on the wife's Cadillac XT6 and have been very impressed. Ride quality and road noise are great, wet traction and traction in light snow have also been very good. The tires have only been on the car for a couple months, but initial impressions are positive.

In the dry: Understeers very easily, could only ever manage 0.9g lateral, car is capable of about 1.1g.
In the wet they are as you expect, OK but not great. Never aquaplaned
On ice/snow the grip is quite good due to EV compound - equivalent to all season tyres.
The wear rate was initially shocking: 7mm new down to 4mm in 5k miles.
Noise & comfort, a little bit loud. I think the car in general is quite loud though.
Conversely find that the Potenzas on the rear have ample grip, predictable oversteer. Feels rock solid all the time.

In the dry: Compared to OEM summer UHP Bridgestone Potenza Enliten there is clearly less overall grip available and notice immediately dulled steering response, not good!
In the wet, sure-footed and feels almost the same as they are in the dry, consistent.
On ice/snow, good as you would expect but not great, not noticeably better than the OEM tyre. Where is the all-season benefit?

i just bought them 2 weeks ago for my lexus rx 450 h. I m very disappointed with those tyres. Sure They perform well on the road but are so noisy in the Lexus ! Nearly as noisy as my Goodrich mud on my old defender. After 2 weeks i just decided to change them as they really ruined the Lexus driving. Really sad for such a price ! I noticed they were " made in China". I'm wondering if the quality is the same as i also get them on my Bmw 640 witout any issue ( but " made in Europe"). So on my opinion, They absolutely do not worth the money.

Replaced existing Yokohama Dunlop mix. Wanted better winter grip. Had expected the tyres to be noisier than previous summer tyres, but surprisingly quieter. Drove in snow for a couple of weeks this past winter in up to 8 inches of snow and slush in town and very good.

Very noissy tyre

I purchased a car with Pirelli Scorpion Verde 235/55R20 tires installed on them. A couple of months later, I went on a trip with my family. On the way, I got caught in heavy rain. My surprise was strong when I experienced the effect of aquaplaning, it was impossible to go faster than 70 kilometers / hour (about 45 mph). The effect of collarity was also noticed when the tires "catch" the track. The mileage of the tires at the end of 2023 was less than 60,000 kilometers (38,000 miles) and there are already wear indicators that require replacement of these tires. This is simply unacceptable.

The only good point of those tyres is the wear. They last a long Time because they are hard AF.
The grip is not bad, but they are noisy unconfortable and they are lacking precision.

Those are definitely not the best of bridgestone.

Put these on in UK winter 2022/2023 as there was no other option and I was sceptical at first. However on our wintery roads and cold mornings I found these to do the job in suburban UK. For going to work, to the station, the school run and sitting in traffic, I have no problem. I did notice a massive improvement on these wintery mornings over my summer tyres (Bridgestone Duellers) which when on summer tyres my 2.5 tonne SUV did slide and lose grip in the same conditions. A lot of people do go for Crossclimate 2s but I prefer to have dedicated summer and winters on the car and yeah the Yokos do the job. I've not put them through a tough wintery challenge but I think part of the issues people have is down to how they drive. IMHO most people haven't got a clue how to drive in the winter. Would I but these again? If I had to then yes but I would have preferred more choice. Ultimately, they are better than summers or all seasons on the car and I want to be able to get around in the winter.
