So these weren't my tires, my fiancée had them on her Honda Odyssey, actually had 2 sets over its lifetime.
I have driven that vehicle likely 10,000 kms myself so I think I can provide some feedback myself.
My fiancée shows dogs for a living, as well as grooming and breeding, so, her van was almost always packed under heavy load. The Defender 2s performed excellent. Probably the best all season tire I've ever used, especially in a bigger vehicle and under heavy load. She's literally drove all across Canada and the US with Defender 2s, and there was never a problem. The only slight negative is during heavy downpours, at higher speeds, and say 25° or more in turns/bends, you need to slow down quite a decent amount. But, that's a pretty specific issue. And also, that's IF your under heavier load than normal. It's not like the tire slips, but you can feel that the stopping power isn't as good as it is under even normal wet conditions. Again, that's a VERY specific sort of circumstances, and aside from a tire like the CrossClimate 2, I wouldn't expect any tire to do any better.
We had a mid tier tire on the Odyssey about a year and a half ago, while we were waiting for our new Defenders to come in, and the differences were pretty crazy, I definitely felt a lot less stable, safe and confident when driving. Even though the Defender 2s aren't really an Ultra Premium Tire, they DO feel like they are on the right vehicle. I haven't driven a lot of SUVs/vans, but the ones I have driven, none of them felt as good as those that didn't have Defenders. Amusingly enough, I didn't know what tires my fiancée had on, but we did a 500 km drive before I thought to look... I said to her, "I don't know what tires you have on, but they feel great to me." I got out, and looked, and wasn't surprised when I saw what they were. Even then, that tire probably had close to 65,000 kms on them... And again, that's under heavy load. So, you'll wesr through tires faster, but it was still going strong.

Low noise, decent snow traction. Just OK dry traction. Less than ideal MPG. Wearing quickly at just 20k I might get 35k miles out of them on my Odyssey. Good in the rain. Would not buy again just based on expected life span.

these tires are too soft and wore out too soon

Good choice for light passenger vehicles. Grip performance is above average in both dry and wet conditions. If your tyres side profile are 50+, highly recommended to pump up to 35 - 37 PSI, while the manufacturer says 32 - 36 PSI. It provides a very clear and solid traction on both highway and city corners. If it is a front wheel drive, you might need to check the wear around 30000 km, especially the edge toes. However the back wheels are still with 80%+ tread. Hence it is perfect for those light 4 wheel drive although I have not tried on them. These GT tyres are designed for summer touring so they are pretty quiet and comfort, compare to other mid-high range brands. They are good quality in general and drived with confidence.

After 55,000 km the tyres were slightly with bulging surface. Maybe about time to change to new tyres. Overall I am happy with UC7 especially on the comfort level.

Installed these tires on a 2015 Honda Odyssey. Tires were great in the snow when new, but after 3 months they started making noise and I rotate the tires every 5,000 miles. After one year or following winter, tire wear was more than expected to the point that the snowflake on the tread is almost gone. They are at 7/32nds and new they come with 11/32nds! Could not get up an untreated hill with less than one inch of snow. I am going to have to replace these tires before next winter and this means that they did not last two years.

Landsail LS588 UHP - The tires are quite soft when driving when measured with the correct tire wind.

Came fitted with my new car. Start getting noisy at 25000km. Very poor in wet. It slipped often when going up steep slope from standstill.
