Cheapest tyre in the test with the quietest external noise, plus the fastest dry handling lap time.

Worst overall for wet braking, snow traction, rolling resistance and dirt handling, and it was the hardest tyre to drive cleanly in the wet.

The Westlake SU318 HT was included as I thought it would highlight how bad cheap tyres are, which it did to a point, but it was WAY better than I expected it to be. That said, it was still last overall in the wet, last overall in snow, last overall in dirt, the worst subjective comfort, the highest rolling resistance. But it was the fastest around the dry handling lap! The value result really helped not finish in last place overall, And honestly while it isn't a great tyre, assuming it doesn't wear out very quickly, it does present a somewhat interesting value proposition.

Relatively quiet external pass by noise.

Low grip in all tests, extremely long wet braking distances, poor aquaplaning resistance, low levels of comfort, high rolling resistance.

Once again the cheapest tyre on test, performed the worst, however it's worth noting, while this tyre was sold as a summer tyre when shopping for the test, it is marketed as an all season tyre in north america, meaning it's likely to have a higher level of snow performance than the other eight tyres which could explain some of the offset in the dry and wet.
