Metzeler SPORTEC 01 RS

The SPORTEC™ 01 RS is Metzeler's new track-capable supersport tyre, aimed at experienced riders chasing maximum dry grip and racing-style feedback while retaining road approval. Its slicker, more compact tread runs a low void-to-rubber ratio for near-slick behaviour under hard riding, paired with a bi-compound build that combines a full-silica centre with carbon black racing shoulders drawn from Metzeler's Isle of Man TT experience. A PET-based structure (rayon on the 200/60 size) delivers high-speed stability and steering precision, with the patented DYNATREAD™ adaptive tread tying it all together for confident track day use without a tyre change.
