While these tyres are a great performance tyre, they have no place on a car that spends no time on track days. They are performance tyres, but are very harsh and bumpy including hard to balance. They are also VERY noisy.
I was so disgusted with these tyres, I took them off at 60-70% tread left and got another tyre

The tyre performance amazed me! Considering that it's a sports tyre with an entry level price range (It's 1.2 Million IDR ~ 100AUD).
Never this happy with cornering and speeding, correcting direction feels unwaveringly good!
I drove an upgraded Toyota Innova with bigger turbos, rated at 307HP & 750Nm of torque, so it really needs a grippy tyre to compensate the huge torque. Driven at both patchy roads and highways (we call it freeways here in Indonesia), and the tyre performs well at both surface.
However, there are 2 letdowns from this tyre : the first one is it runs quicker than it should be (treadwear 380), and the second one is being slightly under the radar for braking performance.
All in all, I still recommend this tyre for daily use and will buy it again for sure

Inherited these tires on a second-hand purchased Mercedes E350 W211. Although I was initially wanting to replace these with Michelin PS4 / Falken Azenis FK510, the Direzza DZ102 that were mounted on for about 10,000kms now were surprisingly good. I was shocked even more to find out they were UHP summer tires but I didn't expect them to feel very comfortable on our patchy roads. Matches well with the staggered setup of 245/40 R18 and 265/35 R18 on the E350. It may seem to be wearing a little fast for my liking due to a softer compound, but at least the ride is pleasant given the age of the car itself. The only big concern is some notable front tire noise above 80kph which I believe comes from the tires than the bearings but needs further checking one I decide to replace these Dunlops. No issues on wet handling as well after running several patches of water during rainstorms on the highway. Will definitely consider these as a benchmark, however there could be better choices if comfort is a must. May check out some options with Michelin or Falken, but since its staggered it may be difficult finding the exact make and model for both sides, reason why the Dunlop Direzza DZ102 was chosen by the first owner due to lack of availability.

Initial Impression this tyre I got simply because it is cheapest in the option that time compared to Bridgestone Turanza T005 and Continental UC7. While from the design it is looks good in the tread. For Dry Handling As I don't drive aggressively it is good and grip enough but for wet handling in the straight so far no excessive hydroplaning but a little understeer when cornering above 70 km/h. As this tyre segment is second grade performance tyre so it kinda Sporty-comfort Tyre (sporty look but still comfort), But for comfort I feel it is quite bumpy that making steering wheel is shaking especially in uneven roads and not that quiet compared my previous Goodyear Assurance Triplemax. Overall will choose this tyre if it is for show only or using aftermarket wheel as it is look good and sporty but so cheap, but for daily driving using OEM wheel I will consider another choices

These are really good price/performance wise. Grip on both dry and wet is pretty decent for a budget UHP, while being VERY comfortable for the category and price. They are really quiet and the ride is comparable to a decent touring tire while being more grippy as stated. Sidewall and thread look really nice.
The downside is they wear pretty fast, at least in my application. 12.500 miles in they seem to be past the half of their threadlife, wich is weird since they are rated 460 Threadwear, wich is pretty high for a UHP Summer, think they might have another 10k miles in them. Can't really be mad about it since they are less than half the price of more "premium" tires like the PS5 while still being a brand name. If you can get a deal on them factoring their shorter life I would recommend them.

I was using Falken ZE914 Ecorun and the tyre had worn out a bit. Choose to replace it because I just re-tuned my car so it got extra juice *about 230-240hp from stock. Needed a more grippy tyre. Then the shop offered me a "Dunlop Direzza" but did not specify which Direzza, thought it was the DZ101 but turns out it was the DZ102 (they did not have it ready stock, so they immediately bought it from another shop). Price was 1.2mio IDR (about 80 US$) per pcs. Quite affordable since Michelin PS4 priced almost twice.
The dry grip was superb, it feels quick and direct while changing direction and did not hesitate a bit. I flick, it moves. I sometimes do high speed corner and the front end never loses the bite so it barely feels understeer enough. Noise was also good for a tyre at this level of performance. Did not find it too noisy even while running 180 km/h on the highway. The wet grip was average, still can keep up with the car's power but does not give enough confidence to try some "over the top" maneuvers while raining. Braking wasn't the best bit also both on dry and wet, on-par with the Falken ZE914, which is a premium touring.
Still not experiencing the wear though. So, will buy again if the wear is adequate, will not buy if it easily wears out after 20k.

I had previously dunlop LM704 195/45/16. Was highly disappointed with dunlop, was planning to get michelin ps4. It would lose grip on normal cruising in the rain, my little 1.6 16v would let the tyres even scrabble in 3rd gear if I had launch the car. Upgrade to 17inch wheels with dizerra dz102 the comfort levels much better, the grip is unreal, I could not break them loose, not even in the rain. They handle quite well. For the price Its a no brainer. Its quieter than falken ecorun 914s on rougher roads. I will buy them again! Even cornering at speeds on wet roads, its the same speeds I do on dry roads and I still cannot believe the way they grip.

This is a Citroen C-ELYSÉE - 2020./ Less than 18,000km (Live in Lima, PERU). Replace OEM tires, because are not satisfied. Old where Bridgestone Ecopia EP25. New tires Dunlop Direzza DZ102 205/60-R15, now with 10,000km on it . What a difference. First, lower noise. A lot lower noise. Precise handling, impressive braking. (Dry pavement). Even in low-mid rain have a precise braking response. Firm suspension. Will buy again.

The only downside of this tire is this the wear and its a soft compound this tires will goes down very fast.
Good dry and wet grip though even when its near its end of its life supringsly wet grip is still quite good.

Like any tyre, caution in the wet should be paramount. But this said the DZ102 from Dunlop is pretty sure footed, reacts well to changing Conditions and surfaces and once you have got used to it, it is quite predictable and is a very capable wet weather tyre.
Dry grip is outstanding.
Positive turn in and lots of feed back when correct tyre pressures are used.
Note, when fitted, the garage over inflated mine and they felt rubbish straight away. Always check your own pressures after fitment.
Handling is very good from these tyres though they can be a little noisy depending on the road surface.
Altogether a good performance tyre for what I paid AUD $145

The tyre was nearly broken when i changed them after driven with them for 25,000 miles in Hong Kong.
The Dunlop Direzza DZ102 was quite good in dry road conditions.
However, its aqua planing & wet grip was rather terrifying. I did experienced several time of wheel spinning in raining while i just started the car from a complete stop.
Road noise was so bad that in the second half of the tyres' life span.
I did not expect them to last for more than 20000 miles but i don't recommend this to anyone

Bought this dunlop tires november 2017 and now the tires are about 60% thread life left,i think i have put at least 50K kilometres and rotate the tire once.
Now the dry grip is quite good so does the wet grip,the only thing is being a soft compound rubbber this tires mayb dosent last much longer but its hard to say since i drive quite spirited daily and managed to get 50k Km out of this tires and quite happy with it.

Will buy again or try the goodyear f1 D5 which is in the same price range as this dunlop direzza.

Man these tyres are a joy to drive in. Super smooth and grippy, the comfort is excellent, marginal noise even at 160+ kmph speeds. The tires is hard hence not that comfortable however, you get the benefit of excellent cornering and stability than others. These are serious improvements over the previous DZ101 and highly recommended.
