Passenger Car Summer Ultra High Performance Tyres Tyre Review Highlights
Tyres were brand new. Part of the tread separated from the carcass at 18,000km. Is not an impact damage. Can clearly see is a separation and not a cut.

Drove these tyres on mixed roads . 5k miles so far . I cant say yet about the wear or if i would buy them again .
Honestly its fair price for what u get .
The comfort is really good and road noise too they are quiet tires .
Tested them on highway for like 250 km keeping the car 140/180 km/h . Noticed a bit of vibration(no alignment or balancing problems i dont neglect anything ).
The road feedback and grip isn't statisfying . U dont know how much u can push or how much they will hold on corners as the car tends to shift its weight and that scares me a bit causing unnecesary brake or steering corrections .
Same also on country roads and mountains on +15°C all conditions
When u drive smoothly they are a breeze but sometimes i like to be an aggresive driver and these tyres dont give u so much confidence in grip .
Drove mostly on dry weather . But for the miles i did on wet is pretty much the same thing .
When it comes to breaking they are smooth and really good on low speeds but on city scenarios i had (a lot of them ) when u brake suddenly and hard u cant predict where the car is going to stop .
So far saved me a lot of times and they did a good job but still no confidence (Brake pads and discs front and back were changed 1k miles before the tyres . (ATE brakes)
Grip is different in diferent types of tarmac .
Previous tyres i had were hankook ventus prime 2 and no compare with pirelli's for the grip .
Hankook a lot beter . The car felt glued to the road but now u have to always be extra careful .
Overall i can say these tyres are for the relaxed and safe drivers and they are really good for comfort ,noise and milleage .
Grip is exellent when u are a safe driver and dont push the car .
If u drive agressively these tyres dont give confidence at all .
Not sure buying again.

I’ve driven about 28,000 km on these tires. My driving style is calm and within legal limits, and I’m not looking for sporty performance.

The tires have performed well overall in both dry and wet conditions. That said, as they’ve worn down, I’ve noticed a slight feeling of instability when cornering (though the car has never actually lost control).

As for noise, I can’t really compare them much, since my vehicle isn’t known for having good sound insulation.
There’s still some tread left on the tire, but I’m going to replace them with a tire that will last me more miles.

I think it’s a good tire for everyday use—unpretentious and affordable.

Similar to the Nexen HD Plus (without the “Plus”).

A couple of notches below the Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 1 (the best tire I’ve ever tried).
Full disclosure, these tyres are only fitted to the rear of the car.

These tyres have one of my top three worst attributes in a tyre, tread block movement. At speed (and not much better slower) the float from the tread block moving around is so unnerving. Applying even a small steering inputs at a steady pace along a motorway, the first impression is what on earth are the back tyres doing? The feeling is often on winter tyres; because of their soft, tall, siped tread block. This really shouldn't be on a summer tyre. Will this improve as they wear? Probably, but that's a lot of miles of second guessing what the rear of the car is doing.
Initially driving them from the tyre fitters was hilarious, but ultimately in a disappointing way. ESP was in full use. I was hoping this was released agents etc being removed, but the improvement wasn't fundamental, but it did improve.

If you push on, it gets a bit more interesting, but probably not in a great way. They do seem to have decent grip, but you really have to have the throttle applied through a corner, no trailing throttle or being suspect about what's ahead.

The standout feeling with these tyres at even remotely fast speeds is the two bites at every corner. I can't recommend these for that reason alone.

Price is clearly their bonus, but not worth it in my book. I'll be going back to Goodyear eagle F1 aysemtric 6's.

i've had iffy tires.

the toyo proxies were amazing in dry and horrible in wet.
the hankook ventus 3's were decent all around.
and the continental eco contact i have 0 complaints (other then they stopped making them in my size).

these though, the moment i picked my car up from the shop it felt like it was drunk the feedback from the front was almost completely gone and the responsiveness was....there but off, so i was going to rate comfort high but at 120kph the steering wheel occasionally starts to shake.

the incident that made me order new tires to replace them was when i was pulling in to a gap between trucks and i did a burnout when i accelerated...it's not that my car can't do that it's that it usually doesn't happen unless i plan to do it and if it does it on a bright sunny day what is it gone do when it rains? i did not want to find out.

Purchased based on Tyre Reviews and tests showing good results for wet performance. Car (Audi A4 3.0TDI Quattro) has not been driven hastily over the period (mostly used as 'kids Taxi'). At 13,300 miles one had to be replaced due to a shoulder area puncture. On inspection the tyre company pointed out circumfrential extenal cracking of its inner side wall. Whilst this did not seem unreasonable for a tyre that had been driven fully loaded whilst deflating over possibly up to 10 miles, it was observed that on checking all of the remaining fully inflated tyres, the same symptoms were present onthe exterior of all four inner tyre walls. The cracking was monitored throughout the following 9,000 miles as this became a constant worry prior to any long distance or motorwy journey and speeds were kept down as a consquence.
Whilst ultimately these tyres did not give any trouble and appeared to be value for money at around 77% of the cost of the previous choice (Vredestein Ultrac Vorti) I would not purchase Nankang again as they offered less value per mile, i.e. covered only approx 72% of the mileage (22,500 versus 31,300 miles) before wearing down to the 2mm treadwear gauge.

have it only on my front wheel, they are really excellent in wet and big rain with a lot of water. also, i like the special design, looks so good. as mentioned, it's not sport track tyre for fast handling, but it could be because of SUV

After 2,500 km. with these tyres, I have noticed an extremely high increase in noise. They have been noisy from day one, when I fitted them on my car. For those who are expecting a quiet ride, these tyres are not for you.

Also, in cold conditions below 10°C, the tyres become very hard and uncomfortable.

The rest of the performance is totally okay. I’m happy with the rolling resistance, as well as dry and wet handling and braking in all conditions.

This review is for laufenn zfit eq tyres.
These tyres have done 10000 miles so far and are down to 4mm of tread depth. When brand new they have 7.5mm of depth. What like about these is there is no difference between these and overpriced premium tyres. I paid £108 per tyre fitted. If you get a puncture on a quattro car your supposed to change 2 tyres on the same axle. You can with these for the price of 1 michelin tyre. I have had tyres from all top of the range companies and for normal everyday driving there is no difference at all except for the price. I do think that you are only paying for the name sometimes. These tyres will be good for 15000 miles and will definitely buy them again

Extremely quiet, comfortable to drive, the feel is much better than on previous tires, maneuverability and safety at higher speeds, the rest is yet to come....

Excellent tires, made in Japan so the quality is top notch, handling and grip is very good, wet roads are average but these are summer tires so that's ok. have them since late 2024 and no problems at all, and will buy again. Lexus/Toyota are tuned to Dunlop tires as OEM supplier in many regions so expect good car-tire response.
