Always wondered if I should chose from "SUV" tyres or ordinary ones when choosing summer tyres for my Hyundai Tucson. Could you please help me with that?
Just go for whatever is available in your size and load ratings, some brands put an SUV mark on the side, some increase the structure slightly, but generally if it's in the right load rating it should be fine
What is the grippiest tyre in 205/60 15 size. Don't care about mileage. It's for a TVR V8s.
There's not much good listed in that size. I'd probably buy the maxxis

Well, given when I bought my HS51 in Feb, all the sale sites and Kumho's website all showed C C 69 for the label on 205/55r16 but when they landed the labels are C B 69 so I thought 'must've had a bit of an update'. Dot code is 3620 so around September manufacture at a rough calculation.
Feeling a bit smug that my 'At this silly offer price, they'll do me for now' purchase has now turned out to be test winning ??

I checked at my local tyre supplier HS51 CB69 205/55/16 available for purchase. Maybe old stock is gone already.
Even in the less popular sizes I noticed changes in their labels the last 3 weeks or so... https://www.bandenleader.be...
All the C/C labels are becoming C/B or C/A depending on the variants in load and speed index.
On top of that it seems they are now even cheaper than before!
A comparable "premium" brand is at least 30-40% more expensive. No brainer at the moment; perfect everyday tyre.

Another question! The Apollo Aspire XP is now reduced in price in "my" size...
It tested quite well https://www.tyrereviews.com... and is now even cheaper than the HS51... choices choices. Would you recommend it?
I have never tested it so can't give you any first hand experience, just the data you've seen! But Apollo Vred are making some good products

Bridgestone now do a cashback till the end of April and the final question is: should I keep my dedicated winter and summer wheels or just go with the A005 EVO (or just keep the summer wheels and sell the winters)? Live in Belgium, do at most 10.000km a year and our Passat GTE isn't exactly sporty :-)
With max. 10 000 km, rather less, I would say go for the All seasons tyres, Bridgestones A005 EVO are excellent in the wet and dry. Worse is their snow traction (among the last ones but who cares in BE) and their durability. You will save on the 2nd set of wheels and tyres and sensors and the swapping service every year twice... Keep the 2nd set of wheels/tyres at least the 1st year, to see, there is no mistake.
