Hey guys, I wanna buy tyres for my crossover (255/45/R20) and have three options:
Nexen nfera Supreme (N5000 Platinum) : $175 each,
Nankang SP-9 Cross-Sport : $115,
Giti Sport S2 SUV :$125
which will provide more comfort on bumpy roads?
Are any of those tyres available in 195/50 r15?
Very unlikely but there is a search on the site.
I kinda don’t understand the reviews that I read here that are putting goodyear wear among its downsides: is it possible that those are referred to the old Eagle F1 AS5?
Is it possible that the thread depth has been increased?
I’m tempted to buy these tyres and I want to understand if wear will be an issue..
The Asym 6 starts with a lower starting tread depth than the Asym 5. I agree the different in user reviews about occasional poor wear vs this test is confusing. I will find out myself later in the year.
An excellent score weighting table option. My top 3 are same although Conti and Mich swap places. However Pirelli, Hankook, Yoko all move up into the next places replacing GT, Dunlop and Bridgestone. Tyres in the lower places remain similar.
The projected mileage test puts Goodyear, Michelin, and Continental in a league of their own. I wonder how they would fare in the real world when compared to Bridgestone, Pirelli, and Hankook.
Yep, it show's how far ahead some tyres are as a total package.
The drum machine used for the wear testing is owned by Bridgestone and other testers have said there's good correlation between the drum and real world testing, it's the same machine ADAC used for split wear testing this year.
I wonder how the Honda Civic TypeR landet in the statistics. ;)
