For this reason, we always keep the commentary low, but it's important to have the test results on Tyre Reviews, as the more tests published the better right?
This year, ACE have tested nine 205/55 R16 patterns using a Skoda Octavia Estate. ACE put a large percentage of the score weighting on wet performance, which has led to the first victory for the new Nokian WetProof!
The full results of the test are super close, so keep in mind just because a tyre is mid-table, doesn't make it a bad tyre.

I can't see how the Hankook Ventus Prime 3 scores 10 for noise though. It must be about the noisiest tyre in the test.
So... there is the Overall category, which is the sum of all other.
Then we have Total, which is the sum of all + Overall = 2*Overall (totally not needed).
Then we have Dunlop Sport BluResponse tyre reviewed by ACE in 2019...
But we have the same tier, reviewed by the same Auto European Club in 2015, with different scores.

2015 is a long time ago, tyres get updated!
I have noticed this a lot. I think there more to it than just one tyre vs another! Also size will affect which wins, as well as size or make of car
Hi, the ACE / GTU test is referred to Nokian WetProof not Weatherproof...?
You are correct, I've now updated this :)
This test isn't being announced at Tyrereviews entry page.
I believe the Nokian should be the WetProof instead of the WeatherProof.
This premium tyres test proves once more that is pointless to buy mid-range tyres (like the ones from the finnish magazine Moottori), since the latter are almost as expensive but definitely not as good.
