Adjust Result Weighting
The overall scores below are calculated using our weighting system. Since the original publication may use a different scoring methodology that wasn't shared, these results may differ from their published rankings. Not every driver has the same priorities. Adjust the category weightings above to re-rank the tyres based on what matters most to your driving style.
Scores are colour-coded from red (weakest) through yellow to green (strongest) to help you quickly spot each tyre's strengths and weaknesses.
The original test ranking is shown in the # column. Arrows indicate how each tyre moves when your custom weighting is applied.
Dear Tyrereview,
Strange to see that in this test the Bridgestone is ranked on the 7th place.
Unlike the test from the 18 inch test, where he won this test without any faults.
And how could it be that he is the benchmark for the dry laps, and still have 108 points?
And ranked with comfort with an 6?
Hi Mick,
Unfortunately this is due to the wet weather bias Auto Zeitung put on the tyres scoring, meaning a tyre with overall less grip will rank higher if the wet grip is better than the dry.
The Hankook seems to get a real mix of results in tests ! It's like the
Marmite of the tyre world !
The S1 Evo had a pretty good year in 2010, usually just below the premium brands.
The V12 didn't do as well.
Sorry to mention this again but the BF Goodrich tyre is the BF Goodrich g-force Profiler and not the Profiler 2 as it says above ! They don't make the Profiler 2 in any size above 205 65 15 ! The last four reveiws on here for the Profiler 2 should be for the Profiler too ! People seem to get confused because they wrongly assume that the 2 to be the newer higher spec version while in fact it is the opposite ! The 2 was designed for smaller lower powered cars ! Would be nice if you could move the reveiws to the right tyre ! You can check out all the sizes on BF Goodrich's own site :-)
