245/40 R19 Tyre Review Highlights
Writing about the Falken Azenis FK520
rated 100%
I have barely covered 100km on these so the review is based on initial impressions. Mounted on a Tesla model 3, I immediately notices how silent the tyres are especially above 100kmh. Also they seem to be very comfortable despite the low profile. Handling seem compliant too. As a negative, maybe the fact that it comes at 7mm tread depth as new which is low. I also expect short lifespan.

I've loved them, I've done over 3000 of my miles around Europe, on mountain roads, autobahns, small Italian towns and on the Nurburgring, tyres performed fantastic. Confidence inspiring and they have lasted so well compared to my last set of 4S's the trade off of less grip compared to those is very much worth it in my opinion.
The only downside if I had to pick one out is they do start to slide a bit when hot, they lean towards understeer but then again so does the 1.5t estate car they're on!

Writing about the Pirelli P Zero All Season
rated 28%
I'm writing to share my experiences with Pirelli tires, as I've had two instances in the past decade. The first was around 10 years ago when I fitted a set of their all-season tires (I do not remember the model). At first, I found them quite peculiar; for the initial 500 to 1000 miles, the car had an unsettling floaty feel at speeds 45-55 mph on concrete roads. It felt like driving a boat! Over time, it improved, but I only put 16,000 miles on them before replacing them.
My current experience with Pirelli P Zero All Season tires on my BMW has been much worse. They're factory-fitted, but the car's handling is unpredictable. Some days, it's bearable, while others, tramlining (following road grooves) terribly on the same roads at the same speed, seemingly temperature or maybe moisture dependent. After about 350 miles, highway driving feels like I'm navigating a high-speed boat in choppy water. These tires might excel on German autobahns, but they're far from ideal for Colorado's concrete roads. The ride comfort is virtually non-existent; they transmit every road imperfection, even with the adaptive M suspension in comfort mode. Uphill driving on curved roads induces a slide-like feeling. I'm extremely disappointed with these tires.
I've tried adjusting tire pressure with no noticeable improvement.

Writing about the Uniroyal RainSport 5

I have an F11 BMW 530d Touring. I normally buy budget tyres as I'm not generally a fast driver. My previous car was a Vauxhall Insignia estate & I had to change tyres every year. However, after trying budgets on my BMW and finding rear grip in the damp & wet lacking I decided to get Uniroyal Rains ports after reading reviews. They have been true to reviews I read. These tyres are absolutely fine in the dry with grip & comfort being decent. The sidewalls are a wee touch soft which can lead to some slip in the dry if you're really motoring round bends but nothing unpredictable. It's in the wet they really shine though. I've had dozens of cars and these tyres are the safest & most planted I've used in damp and wet conditions. They just feel rock solid the wetter it gets. My greatest surprise has been their wear. I've done 18k miles and they still have 3mm on them. This is by far the most I've ever had tyres last. My wife's Kia Xceed came with Continental sport contacts on it and they were done at 11.5k miles!

Did around 7k km on my Cupra Formentor 4WD 333hp with these tyres in Lithuania (eastern Europe). Dry and wet grip is superb, didn't have a single scenario where these tyres would underperform. However expected much more in terms of snow/ice grip. On snow I have to be careful, don't have good grip (even on light snow). Plenty of times rear of the car slid out a bit even in normal-ish driving, not to mention a bit more spirited drive. On ice grip is terrible, or rather way worse than I expected from 1k € tyres. Obviously these are performance oriented, so perhaps my mistake buying them. Still though, from Continental winter tyres I expected better grip in difficult conditions. Really can't say that I have confidence in these. Again - dry and wet asphalt grip is great. If you don't have snow/ice - these tyres will be a great choice. Otherwise I would suggest to look into something less performance oriented, if you value your safety that is

They're really good tyres in terms of driving, grip and handling and served me brilliantly on my 50:50 split of fast motorway commute and city driving
But...
I only got 10000 miles out of them on the rear axle of my car. They've worn more than twice as fast as the Michelin PS4s I previously had under the same driving style and driving conditions so consequently I feel they're poor value.
(I've checked and it's wear across the entire width of both tyres and so it's not a suspension issue. They just wore out quickly)

I am not satisfied with these tyres it came with car from manufactur tyres are so noisy specialy on highway, tyres are not stable on 90mph+, lot of understeer in mountain roads and in wet city so I cant drive sporty spiritted, on highway with lot of rain so much aquaplaning compare to other tyres, steering is slugish and it has some crack after one season after 4 season and around 18000 miles it has a lot of cracks some of them big some smaller but after around 18000 miles it has 3.7 - 4mm tread but I take it of and replace with PS5

Writing about the Pirelli P Zero Winter 2

These tires are absolutely phenomenal on snow and ice (perfect grip), the direction changes are immediate and you can really feel a very strong grip on wet and cold roads as well. I couldn’t imagine that a winter tire could be so sporty and so enjoyable to drive (not noisy). The only trade is that they will last only 2 winters if you like to have fun but that’s the price you pay for an absolutely great driving experience ! I really recommend the Pirelli P zero winter 2 !

Replaced the Michelin pilot sport 4 on my dad's insignia with the sport contact 7 after reading all the tyre reviews tests and opinions. Honestly, they may even be better than what people say. Dry grip, honestly, way better than the already perfect PS4. I feel like I can't break them into understeer whatever I do to them. Wet grip is also very safe and stable. We've only used them for less than 5000km so can't rate the wear, but they look like new. They are also really comfortable, maybe not as much as the PS4 but veery comfortable and quiet. The perfect UHP summer tyres in my opinion.

Been waiting for exactly this tyre - all season with a sporty bias. Don't believe a 5 series requires a full UHP tyre.
Recently got a full set fitted and having done a few hundred miles now initial impressions are good. Dry and wet grip is excellent. Noise levels are great too, no lounder than the summers previously fitted.
No adverse weather yet so haven't tested in the snow but time will tell, given michelin's expertise with the CC2 I'm sure they'll be fine there. Fuel economy doesn't appear to have changed. Comfort improved over the run flats previously fitted.
All in very happy so far just waiting on snow performance and wear rate. Got a good price on them too, cheaper that the PS5s I was considering.
