235/35 R19 Tyre Review Highlights
Writing about the Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperSport rated 82%
while driving a Hyundai I30N
Specific version of tyre: Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport A0 (Audi spec)
Conditions: Daily
Replaced at: 22,500 km, rotated once at 7,000 km and a second time at around 15,000–16,000 km
Immediate improvement over the P Zero PZ4 in terms of instant grip without requiring much tyre warm-up.
Great feedback, great grip — the tyre never let me down.
Only downside is less stiff sidewalls compared to the PZ4, though this could be due to it being an Audi spec compound.

Writing about the Pirelli P Zero PZ4 rated 76%
while driving a Hyundai I30N
Specific version of tyre: Pirelli P Zero PZ4 HN (Hyundai spec)
Conditions: All + 1 track day
Replaced at: 22,000 km, rotated once at 11,000 km
When tires are warm — grip, feedback and progressiveness is excellent
Low grade was given for "buy again" due to the tyre not working well at lower temperatures (spring) and needing time to heat up - for a daily tyre.

Great tires that are surprisingly good in the wet for their class. Grip is unmatched compared to other street focused 200TW

Unfortunately had these tires blow up hitting a pot hole prematurely but I had a good experience with them

Good tyres, but due to 35 profile horrendous on potholes. Also Rim Protection useless, rims project beyond tyre. Next time would get R18 on new wheels not R19, and 245 vs 235 on originals

Writing about the Continental SportContact 7 rated 83%
while driving a Hyundai I30N
For my 2022 I30n Hatch I got the Conti SportContact 7 to replace the original Pirelli P Zero PZ4 which only lasted about 17000kms, this set has lasted about 42000kms including 3 track days!

The SportContact 7 are way better for dry and wet handling, I can push them allot further then I ever would the Pzeros due to handling/breaking and general dynamics. The feedback from the tyres over the Pzero's gives you more confidence to push them to the edge through corners, I really love the tyres but they are lot more expensive in 2026 so will look at the Hankook Ventus S1 Evo Z K129 which is pretty close in dynamics

For a more street-oriented 200 TW tire, the amount of dry grip is outstanding. Steering response is amazing as well. Feedback isn't great, but it has some

Writing about the Pirelli P Zero rated 89%
while driving a Audi S3
I use my P-Zero as my summer tires on dedicated light weight rims. My winter tires are Continental ExtremeContact DWS-06+ for all season performance. My car is a light weight Audi S3 with AWD in the St. Louis area where winters are mild and relatively minimal snow. Both tires are fun to drive and provide for plenty of performance, though the Pirelli's are the better tire in most warm weather conditions and seem to be keeping up with Conti's in wear, noise, and comfort. Lastly, I can confirm the "Tyre Review test results" matches what I've experienced in real world driving.

My experience so far was great. The only thing they are missing is a bit more grip in the wet and more communicative sterring feel like you get on something like continental

Writing about the Pirelli P Zero PZ4 rated 90%
while driving a Hyundai I30N
I own a Hyundai i30 N Performance, which I use very frequently both in the city and at Track Days, and these tires really need to be properly understood.
The Pirelli P Zero HN is not a tire that gives you 100% grip from the moment you start the car, regardless of weather or ambient temperature. This is a tire that needs TEMPERATURE. It has to be warmed up to become truly grippy, and on public roads it is very difficult (almost impossible) to consistently bring it into its optimal operating window.
In my opinion, this is an excellent tire for learning proper driving technique. It does not forgive mistakes—when you make a technical error, you will feel it immediately. For this reason, I consider it very good for track training, where feedback and precision matter most.
On the street, it can be a good tire only if you manage to heat it up; otherwise, grip is limited.
The sidewall is very stiff, allowing you to take corners at high speeds without feeling the tire flex or the sidewall deform under load.
In wet conditions, however, performance is poor. In heavy rain or on roads covered with slime or grime, I strongly recommend significantly reducing speed, as grip drops dramatically.

Durability:
Despite frequent spirited driving, the tire lasted around 30,000 km, while also completing approximately 150 hot laps on track. Considering the level of abuse and heat cycles, wear was reasonable for a performance-oriented tire.

An important point: I chose to buy this tire again because I understand how it works and know how to take advantage of its strengths. Once you learn its limits and how to use it properly, it delivers exactly what it promises.

Conclusion:
✔️ Excellent on track
✔️ Great for improving driving skills
✔️ Very stiff sidewall, strong cornering stability
✔️ Predictable when in the correct temperature window
❌ Requires heat
❌ Poor wet performance

You feel every bump in the road. Surefooted in wet and dry. Give total confidence in all weathers and at any speed.5mm tread left at 18000 miles and I don't hang about. Tyres need replacing due to cracking on sidewall. Will I buy again? After weighing up the pros and cons. Maybe.

Stock tires on my Focus ST. Good comfort for a sport tire and noise levels were also good. The grip was exceptional until they dropped below 3mm tread. Then, the grip levels progressively dropped but still the tire was informative, so there was no sudden grip loss. The feedback from is also really nice as they felt direct to the steering input. The worst part is for sure the durability as these tyres are 3 years old and roughly 15k kilometers old and are at 2mm at the front and 3mm at the back and there are a few major cracks on the sidewalls. My driving style is pretty average and the tyres haven't been used on track.
