I would like to see what was the exact tyre as reference summer/winter tyre. If it is already in the article, sorry that I've missed it.

This is an insane win for the Pirelli All Season SF3. Have we ever seen an all-season tyre score this well across wet, dry and snow? It also scored very well in Jonathan's test but great to see it keeps winning in bigger sizes as well.
This test is another confirmation of the awesomeness of the Pirelli SF3 but again it showed that for temperate climates like the south of the UK where the temperatures only gets below 7 degrees < 25% of the time, and it snows infrequently, that a summer tyre appears a more sensible option. The wet braking of the Pirelli is good but not as good as the wet braking of the Continental Sport Contact 7 and I have decide therefore that for my Audi S4 I want the best of both worlds and will fit the Continental Sport Contact 7 as summer tyres and will fit the Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3 to my 19" alloys for winter/going to the Alps as and when required.
