2022 ADAC 16" SUV Summer Tyre Test

Sadly, as usual there's no actual data provided behind the scores, but ADAC have graded and commented on all the tyres in detail which you can read below.

The results are certainly not surprising if you follow tyre testing, with Continental and Michelin tying for first place overall, and Bridgestone placing third.

1		Michelin Primacy 4 Scores: Dry - 8.6 Wet - 7.0 Rolling Resistance - 9.2 Noise - 6.4 Wear - 9.0 Overall - 7.8 Text: Positive - Very balanced, very good in the dry, low fuel consumption, low wear. Negative - None mentioned. Overall - The Michelin Primacy 4 achieved the second best result on dry roads. In the wet, it is rated just as good, but it can play its trump cards when it wears out. All in all, the tire is clearly particularly recommendable and thus gets one of the first two places in the overall ranking.
3		Bridgestone Turanza T005 Scores: Dry - 8.4 Wet - 7.2 Rolling Resistance - 8.8 Noise - 6.2 Wear - 8.0 Overall - 7.6 Text: Positive - Very balanced, good in the dry and wet, relatively low fuel consumption. Negative - None mentioned. Overall - The Bridgestone Turanza T005 gets good ratings for safety-related driving maneuvers on both dry and wet roads. The tire can also get a good rating in terms of wear. The tire is therefore well-balanced and receives the rating particularly recommendable.

6		Nokian WetProof Scores: Dry - 7.6 Wet - 7.8 Rolling Resistance - 6.8 Noise - 6.6 Wear - 7.0 Overall - 6.8 Text: Positive - Top marks in the wet, good on dry roads. Negative - Increased fuel consumption. Overall - Although the Nokian Tires Wetproof gets good ratings in both dry and wet conditions as well as in terms of wear, it does not get more than a satisfactory result in terms of fuel consumption, albeit just barely. This satisfactory assessment ultimately leads to a devaluation in the overall grade. Thus, the Nokian Tires proves to be recommendable.

Negative - Weak in the dry and wet, highest wear on test. Overall - The Nankang Eco-2+ just manages an overall satisfactory rating and is therefore still recommended. On a dry road he even ends up at the back of the field. It is also one of the tires with the worst performance in the field on wet roads and is therefore also rated as satisfactory in this criterion. It completes the wear test with the worst rating.

Overall - Due to its weaknesses on dry and wet roads, the Kormoran Road Performance does not get more than a sufficient rating and thus receives the title conditionally recommendable as the last in the field. In the wear test, the tire is still rated as good.
