Mercedes Benz CLK 350 Cabriolet Tyres

Just as one would expect, regularly pressure-checked and maintained Sport/low-profile tyres give good feel, feedback and progression -and were generally wearing well with almost 5mm remaining across full contact area on each front with little/no impact damage apparent. However, continuous split/tear at full circumference of the inner shoulder (where tread meets side-wall) on each of the fronts giving rise to premature replacement has severely lowered my rating and confidence in these tyres! This problem is difficult to view unless wheels are removed or on ramp ... or you are otherwise aware of the problem. Beware!
